CPA Set - Finalize cards

I thought we were axing the Self-Inflict card. Doesn't seem very spectacular now.

Maybe next time, changes to cards shouldn't be edited into previous posts. This can become very confusing if you want to read the development of card again at some later stage..

The original is still in the cut the confusion thread and this is to finalize cards so the post is edited to show the final version. Since the card was to be axed, I thought a change to it might make it salvagable.
If no one likes the new "self-inflict" card then we can ax it.

Ax it. I'll try to incorporate a "playing spells that your opponent controls" theme on a later set.

A little out of order, but these cards are a set.
Gray is the common
Dusk is the Uncommon
Dire is the Rare

These three never die..... hehe
But since they don't have fear or anything they are just creatures.
Do we want to template these as activated abilities with conditions?
Change
"Whenever you have 8 or more creatures in your graveyard, you may remove Timber Wolf and all creatures in your graveyard from the game. If you do, search your library or hand for Dire Wolf and put it into play."
To
"Remove Timber Wolf and all creatures in your graveyard from the game: Search your library or hand for Dire Wolf and put it into play. Use this ability only if you have 8 or more creatures in your graveyard."

Ummm...... we already worked on these. The "Zombie Giant" Evo cards?

Oh! And reviewing those Black Evo cards (and any others that we didn't catch), the "BC1" and such references in the text boxes need to be changed to the appropriate names.

So we want them all to be the same template?

I fixed the BC references.

What do you mean "same template". These are the same cards. Not just another Evo cycle. These are the same cards.

Like these?

There are black wolf creatures.
Timber Wolf can be changed to:
Bog Wolf
Lowlands Wolf
Carrion Wolf
Midnight Wolf
Dusk Wolf
Wolf pack
Grizzled Wolf

or if these don't work, something else.

Dusk Wolf seems okay

(Wolf Pack is already a card, and Carrion Howler is a wolf zombie :D)

XG: Grend-Eoten gains Rampage X, where X is the number of Attacking Berserkers.
Should the X be in the activation cost? Or should it just be :
G: Grend-Eoten gains Rampage X, where X is the number of Attacking Berserkers.
This should be an uncommon

Insane black creature name = Insane Ghoul
I'm not sure, but this could stay a common, since it can easily be pinged and any legal blocker would kill it.

You guys still don't understand! The Wolves are nearly exactly the same cards as our Zombie Giants!!!!!!!!!!! Scrap them!!!!!!! Ax Them!!!!!

I don't think the Eoten needs to be upgraded from common. The fear ability kinda hinders the rampage ability. I say leave it common.

Insane Ghoul works.

Oh, I figured the Zombie Giants were the 'design' stages of the wolves, figuring out the wording of the abilities and stuff. And that the Wolves had now replaced them.

But you want the black evo cycle to be Zombie Giants? And not Wolves?

In other news:
Grand Eoten shouldn't have an X in its activation cost; its confusing.
And Insane Ghoul should be uncommon, because it has Swampcast 2. :D

Ransac

CPA Trash Man
If that's the case, that's fine. I thought that since this was a Finalize thread and that we had already worked on them this time through that they were brought up again to be different cards. If you guys want them to be wolves, that's fine (though I don't really find wolves to be a black creature).

You'd think that, for an uncommon, you'd get somthing better than a 3/1 Fear for pitchin two cards from your hand.
