  1. Oversoul The Tentacled One

  2. Spiderman CPA Man in Tights, Dopey Administrative Assistant

    What happened to your post?

So I can't draw anything because my draw pile is empty?
  3. rokapoke Man Among Gods

Sorry about that, your draw pile is full. I forgot to update that. Besides, if your draw pile is ever exhausted, we just shuffle in your discard pile.
  4. Spiderman CPA Man in Tights, Dopey Administrative Assistant

See, I didn't read the rules, so wasn't sure :)

Play the Festival and then the Laboratory.
  5. rokapoke Man Among Gods

Spiderman: You play a Festival and a Laboratory. You now have 2 actions and 2 buys (with +2 treasure). The Laboratory draws you a Woodcutter and an Estate.

    Your hand:
    Estate
    Estate
    Woodcutter
    1 - Copper
    1 - Copper

Assuming you play your Woodcutter (and there's zero reason not to)...

You've now got a total of 6 treasure to spend on as many as 3 buys.
  6. Spiderman CPA Man in Tights, Dopey Administrative Assistant

    I'll just buy a Gold.
  7. rokapoke Man Among Gods

  11. rokapoke Man Among Gods

    Melkor buys a Silver.

    Next up: Oversoul

    Hand:
    Estate
    1 - Copper
    1 - Copper
    1 - Copper
    Village

From this point onward, I will assume that if you've got one (non-Moneylender, non-Feast, non-Cellar) Action card in hand, it will be used. Let me know if you do not want this for your own future turns -- it just speeds things up. I don't mean to force anybody into anything.

Playing the Village gets you a Market. Playing the Market gets you an Estate.

You now have 2 actions (though no more to play) and 4 treasure to spend on as many as 2 buys.

    Stockpiles:
    QTY..CARD
    28...Copper (cost = 0, 1 treasure)
    34...Silver (3, 2 treasure)
    27...Gold (6, 3 treasure)

    12...Estate (2, 1 victory point)
    12...Duchy (5, 3 victory points)
    12...Province (8, 6 victory points)

7....Cellar (2) (+1 action. Discard any number of cards from your hand. Draw that many cards.)
    7....Village (3) (+2 actions. Draw one card.)
    9....Woodcutter (3) (+1 buy. +2 treasure for this turn.)
9....Moneylender (4) (Trash a copper from your hand. If you do, gain +3 treasure for this turn.)
10...Feast (4) (Trash this card. Gain a card costing up to 5.)
    7....Smithy (4) (Draw 3 cards.)
    8....Festival (5) (+2 actions. +1 buy. +2 treasure for this turn.)
    7....Laboratory (5) (+1 action. Draw two cards.)
8....Market (5) (+1 action. +1 buy. Draw one card. +1 treasure for this turn.)
9....Mine (5) (Trash a treasure card from your hand. Put a treasure card costing up to 3 more into your hand.)

Deck sizes / Draw pile sizes:
    Spiderman -- 19 / 11
    Turgy22 -- 20 / 14
    Melkor -- 17 / 11
    Oversoul -- 16 / 9
  12. Oversoul The Tentacled One

Buy a Village and a Copper.
  13. rokapoke Man Among Gods

Oversoul buys a Village and a Copper.

    Next up: Spiderman

    Hand:
    1 - Copper
    1 - Copper
    1 - Copper
    1 - Copper
    Smithy

From this point onward, I will assume that if you've got one (non-Moneylender, non-Feast, non-Cellar) Action card in hand, it will be used. Let me know if you do not want this for your own future turns -- it just speeds things up. I don't mean to force anybody into anything.

The Smithy draws you the following: Cellar, Copper, Silver.

    New Hand:
    1 - Copper
    1 - Copper
    1 - Copper
    1 - Copper
    1 - Copper
    2 - Silver
    Cellar

You have 7 treasure to spend on 1 buy. You are out of available actions, so the Cellar is a dead card in your hand.

    Stockpiles:
    QTY..CARD
    27...Copper (cost = 0, 1 treasure)
    34...Silver (3, 2 treasure)
    27...Gold (6, 3 treasure)

    12...Estate (2, 1 victory point)
    12...Duchy (5, 3 victory points)
    12...Province (8, 6 victory points)

7....Cellar (2) (+1 action. Discard any number of cards from your hand. Draw that many cards.)
    6....Village (3) (+2 actions.

    Spiderman -- 19 / 3
    Turgy22 -- 20 / 14
    Melkor -- 17 / 11
    Oversoul -- 18 / 9
  14. turgy22 Nothing Special

Not intending to push out your involvement in the game, rokapoke, but we could also speed things up by controlling our own draws. I think everyone's pretty much got a handle on how the game works, so if we're all aware of what's in our decks, we could take our turns without waiting for the info from you.

Of course, I'm not sure that that's caused many delays. I think every time I've checked this game, rokapoke made the latest post in it.
  15. Spiderman CPA Man in Tights, Dopey Administrative Assistant

    I'll buy a Gold.

Is it okay with you guys if rokapoke takes over my deck while I'm gone?
  16. turgy22 Nothing Special

    Fine with me.
  17. rokapoke Man Among Gods

With this being the first game, I would prefer to maintain my moderator role as is. Future games could really be run by the players (rather easily, really), but I think it's good to have a moderator until the first game is done. Plus, I like feeling useful.

    Spiderman buys a gold.

    Next up: Turgy22

    Hand:
    Estate
    1 - Copper
    1 - Copper
    Cellar
    Mine

    Stockpiles:
    QTY..CARD
    27...Copper (cost = 0, 1 treasure)
    34...Silver (3, 2 treasure)
    26...Gold (6, 3 treasure)

    12...Estate (2, 1 victory point)
    12...Duchy (5, 3 victory points)
    12...Province (8, 6 victory points)

7....Cellar (2) (+1 action. Discard any number of cards from your hand. Draw that many cards.)
    6....Village (3) (+2 actions.

    Spiderman -- 20 / 3
    Turgy22 -- 20 / 9
    Melkor -- 17 / 11
    Oversoul -- 18 / 9
  18. turgy22 Nothing Special

    Play Cellar, dropping Estate.
  19. rokapoke Man Among Gods

You draw a Market. Playing the Market (as I presume you would) draws you a Gold.

    Your hand:
    1 - Copper
    1 - Copper
    3 - Gold
    Mine

You currently have 6 treasure for up to 2 buys.

Should you choose to play the Mine, you could trade a Copper for a Silver (put into your hand). That would up your total to 7 treasure for up to 2 buys.
  20. turgy22 Nothing Special

    Mine Copper for Silver.
    Buy Village and Smithy.
