    I like that name, Psychic Backlash. Does anyone else think that 1RRUU is a bit much though? Just wondering if it'd ever get played.

    BTW, Istanbul I really like your idea for the new updated Crovax...but there can't be any cards in the set with real magic card names on them. I think it would be cool.

    Psychic Backlash sounds great! No, I dont think it is overcosted. Maybe if you use it to counter a 1-3cc spell, but if you use it to counter a 30-point fireball, not only does it counter the spell, your opponent take 30 points of damage to. It costs the same as a Force of Will or Misdirection, but instead of the acc, it does damage.

    I started on a new "race", the Ereth, which has to sacrifice one of itself when it comes into play, if there is one in play.

    I think Multani means "All other treefolk get +2/+2", and "All other Treefolk cannot be the target of spells or abilities."

    First off, amazing stuff this week! I can't wait to get these in the cardinfo datafile.

    Second... No matter how much your Legend costs, if you want it to mimic a spell (like, say... Counterspell) for the same cost as the actual spell, you'll have to add "discard a card" to the cost. Counterspell abilities in particular will have to cost "1UU, Tap, discard a card:"

    Third, some specific card comments and suggested revisions (feedback encouraged):

    1UU, Tap, discard a card: Counter Target Spell.
    UU: Untap XDanish.
    BB: XDanish gains +2/-1 and until end of turn.
    (First strike is a bit much, isn't it? Especially for black/blue)

    When a creature is put into a graveyard during the same combat phase that ~ damaged it, put a +1/+1 counter on ~.
    When ~ is put into a graveyard, you may choose to remove it from the game. If you do, put X +1/+1 counters on any number of target creatures, where X is the number of +1/+1 counters on ~. Remove these counters at end of turn.
    ("Severance" sounds both Legendary and like an instant ot sorcery. Other suggestion of course are welcome. "Insolent Vampire," perhaps?)

    I like this idea. I think the non-Strider Ereth should require a sacrifice though, so I'm thinking, "When ~ comes into play, sacrifice an Ereth."
    I wonder if you mean, "If ~ is sacrificed in this way, <ability>."
    So I suggest this template:

    Enchantment
    Ascention cannot leave play in any way.

    When Ascention comes into play, remove target Legend creature from the game. That creature's controller gains life equal to that its power plus toughness, may draw a number of cards equal to its converted mana cost, and may search his or her library for up to four lands which produce mana of the creature's color and put those lands into play tapped, then shuffle that library.

    If another copy of Ascention would come into play, instead remove it from the game.
    If another copy of the removed Legend creature would come into play, instead remove it from the game.

    Well, if each ereth needs a sacrifice to be played, then there can not be an ereth in play. Like a Kjeldoran dead effect.

    And the "when this is sacrificed..." was not inteded only the the effect of another Ereth, but to be used as one.

    Maybe I just confused you even more :)

    Those all sound like good changes to my stuff, except if your gonna change the name of the oven make it Evilkow's Oven. Other than that it all sounds great.

    New Ability: Waiting X

    When ~this~ comes into play, put X wait counters on it. During your upkeep you may remove a wait counter from it. When there are no wait counters on ~this~ put it into play.

    Note, even though it is not in play, none activated abilities that involve wait counters still take effect.
