Nah, I think WW is fine.

We can't use those names because the other colors have them, too.

We COULD try to create "tribe", "clan", or "party" names for storyline purposes?

Sure, knock yourself out, Mr. Norse.

    Well here goes it:

    Color Name
    White Jotan
    Blue Krake
    Black Grimhold
    Red Brandr
    Green Aelf

    So these (Whit) would be
    Jotan Totem Chief
    Jotan Totem Minion
    Jotan Totem Shaman
  7. Limited Yes, but we won't care

I like Grimhold and Brandr, but think that Krake is too similar to Kraken, Aelf is too similar to Elf and Jotan is too similar to Jotun (which is in Coldsnap)
  8. Limited Yes, but we won't care

Edit: Talking about the Stealth Leopard.. old browser window

Besides, Snow has become somewhat of a keyword in Coldsnap.. (or actually, a supertype) so I don't think its a word we want to be using. Especially when Spotted Leopard is a brilliant name!

The cost should be 4W though; they were designed to be 'less than average' and I don't think we should be undoing that already.
  9. Ransac CPA Trash Man

I agree (didn't see that cc change). Leave the leopard at 4W.

  10. Mooseman Isengar Tussle

I left it at 4W, just a thought that nobody else thought was good.
So Spotted Leopard is the final name.

    How about them Totems?
  11. Ransac CPA Trash Man

Aelf, Krake, and Jotan need to be scrapped for the time being.

    Color Name
    White Vanir
    Blue Urd
    Black Grimhold
    Red Brandr
    Green Garmswood

    Any better?
  13. Ransac CPA Trash Man

Works for me. Go for it.

    Card Name: Alternative Reality
    Color: U
    Cost: 1UU
    Type: Instant
    Pow/Tgh:
Rules Text: Counter target spell. If a creature spell is countered in this way, put it into play under your control instead of into its owner’s graveyard unless any player pays 2.
    Flavor Text:
    Rarity: U
    Artist:
    Number: 30/186
  15. Ransac CPA Trash Man

Don't think so. It's card number 30. We had a little less than 30 white cards when we started this. This is the beginning of the blue cards.

We worked on this card a lot, though I'd suggest a change. It's worded awkwardly right now, so let me make the following change

    Card Name: Alternative Reality
    Color: U
    Cost: 1UU
    Type: Instant
    Pow/Tgh:
Rules Text: Counter target spell. If a creature spell is countered in this way, put it into play under your control instead of into its owner’s graveyard unless any player pays 2.
    Flavor Text:
    Rarity: U
    Artist:
    Number: 30/186

It's a little better, but worded much better, too. Plus, I made it uncommon. Thoughts?

  16. Mooseman Isengar Tussle

Yeah, I just noticed that we are done with the first pass through the white cards. Still some missing from the "Cut the Confusion" Thread.

If it stays "Counter target creature spell", then it would stay a common?
That's what I was aiming for.

If it's an uncommon, I'd want to get creatures and artifacts or Enchantments with the "control magic" part. Or is that too much?
  17. Ransac CPA Trash Man

I think creature control itself needs to stay uncommon. The way it's worded now, it can counter anything and maybe get an extra bonus. If you want to make it creature or artifact, that's fine with me. As long as the controller option stay at (2).

  18. Mooseman Isengar Tussle

Okay, I can live with that.... the counter anything makes it a utility card.
  19. Mooseman Isengar Tussle

    Card Name: Augmund
    Color: U
    Cost: 1U
    Type: Creature - Berserker
    Pow/Tgh: 2/1
Rules Text: 1U: Target Berserker gains flying
All combat damage dealt to attacking Augmund is reduced to 1
    Flavor Text:
    Rarity: U
    Artist:
    Number: 31/186

    Should the Rules Text be
All Berserkers gains flying - very powerful
Target Berserker gains flying - limiting
<THIS> gains flying - not really good
  20. Ransac CPA Trash Man

Should be uncommon and should be "Target Berserker gains flying".
