I think we have WAY too many categories here, this is getting stupid. I wouldn`t have a clue who to vote for in all but about four or five of these topics because they all seem really obscure.
Plus I think a lot of them were suggested with a specific person in mind, so perhaps it would be better to arrange a shorter list of say 10-15 awards, with a shortlist of candidates for each (and I mean SHORTlist, say 5 names max with a write-in option). This is going to get out of hand REAL fast, I swear it, if it runs as it currently stands and half the categories cross over anyway (clown, funniest, wacko? Same guy, right? Best speaker, most eloquent?).

How about we combine all the mascots into a single award:
The Sunglasses Of Urza Award for colour-blindness

I have already suggest that there should be no more than 15 catagories. Those catagories above are just what she has in mind.

But the semi-analytical side of me that I usually use when charbroiling a fiction story keeps yammering about the anime law/fiction convention/gaming rule ... that when two people of the opposite gender argue incessantly, fight constantly, but still manage to remain close ... why, that's a formula for loooooovveeeeee ... that's as old as time. Or fiction anyway.
