You travel 50' south before you come to a east-west passage. Your torch reveals the passageway to continue east or it goes 30' west and has a door in the west wall or could continue north (it looks like a wall is there on the map but that was just a mess-up on my part).
While Cugel is checking the door, will walk up and listen at it to hear anything that is on the other side...(provided nothing is around the corner waiting to chop our heads off)
Nope, nothing around the corner. The torchlight does reveal that the passageway continues north for at least 30' at there's another door in the west wall 30' up (and the passage goes further north beyond it, but you can't see farther). The party is at the southwest door, despite no P
I'll stand at the ready, holding a torch aloft... Dagger in hand to throw at my earliest opportunity. I'm also going to try to stay alert in case something in the room right by comes out (or someone comes down the hall...)

You see stairs going down for at least 30' before the torchlight fades (note on the map I only show 20' because I only have stairs in increments of 20', but it's really 30')
