D&D: Palace of the Silver Princess

[Prince RXI]

***Fine... spoil my fun ... oh, and Karnage is a fighter, just to finish it off.***

*Readys Beleg-Drauganca in a defense position, prepared to block what ever comes towards him or his allies.*

 

[Spiderman]

Karnage opens the door and...

sees what looks to be a pantry. Wooden plates, spoons, knives, and other utensils are scattered around the room. Broken pots litter the floor. You see five small, incredibly ugly human-like beings opening drawers and cabinets and tossing things on the floor. The creatures have pale, earthy colored skin and their eyes are red and glow in the dark.

They glance up in surprise when you open the door.

 

[DarthFerret]

Sheath my weapon and walk into the room with hands outspread in a non-threatening gesture....whispering out of the corner of my mouth.."Got my back guys?"

 

[train]

Si'Nat

*I am so tempted to let an arrow fly - especially since we will have the surprise factor on them...*

(Si'Nat will respond accordingly with the rest of the group's actions...)

"DON'T MOVE!" (in goblin)

**I'm holding the torch in the hallway, trying to be observant of anything going on in the hallway.... **

 

[Prince RXI]

*Karnage hoists Beleg-Draugnaca a little higher and moves his left hand to join his right on the hilt*

whispers to the others: "Be very careful, they may attack us un-provoked..."

 

[Oversoul]

*Cugel moves his hand to his bow, just in case...*

 

[Spiderman]

Upon hearing Rondo, they raise their weapons, scream something, and charge him. He almost disappears in the swarm and is hit at least once as one of the creature's blades is red with blood.

Round 2 (they gain the initiative)

Their blades flash and Rondo is hard-pressed to defend himself...

 

[BigBlue]

Patrick

**Boy... you just never know whether to cast the spell or not... because once your "1" spell is cast it's done for the day.... sigh... I hope we can defeat them without losing Rondo....**

Patrick Throws a dagger at the nearest goblin when an opening occurs...

 

[train]

Si'Nat...

(Lets an arrow fly, and will then move in with the sword next round...)

"Dammit, if only I'd had a clear shot...guess I'll take one, and then flash the metal!..."

 

[TomB]

Rondo thrashes about, swinging his axe at any nearby goblins. "I been hit!" he shouts to the group. "Somebody help kill these stupid beasties already!!!!!"

*How'd ALL of 'em get past our berserker that fast anyways, Spidey? *

 

[train]

(Bertrem had walked forward hands out - is it rondo being attacked or bertrem?... did they both move in front of karnage?)

 

[Spiderman]

(I kinda assumed everyone had moved into the room and did their actions, so the creatures just bypassed Bertrem and Karnage)

 

[DarthFerret]

Whirl around drawing the mace, and take a flanking position, stirking at the foes, forgoing all attempts at keeping any alive.

 

[Prince RXI]

*Strikes out with Beleg-Drauganca at the closest foe in an upward slash*

In his silent whisper of a voice: "Feel my ancestors' fury, and fall"

 

[Spiderman]

Patrick throws his dagger and strikes one in the back shoulder. It turns, growling fiercely.

Si'Nat's arrow strikes the creature next to it. It too turns.

Rondo smashes one into the ground with a mighty blow of his axe.

With his mace, Bertrem hits the one Si'Nat shot and the creature crumples to the ground.

Karnage runs through one of the others through with his sword. When he withdraws the blade, the creature slides off to the floor with a gurgle.

The remaining uninjured creature swings at Rondo but easily misses. The one wounded with the dagger strikes out at Karnage while trying to get to Patrick, but fails to penetrate his armor.

Round 3 - you have the initiative.

 

[Prince RXI]

*Karnage, sword in an upward parry from the end of his strike, reverses his hands and makes a controlled slash from the pinnacle down in a curved arc from his left to right at the target that attacked him*

Still in his silent voice: "May the wind howl your torment for all times."

 

[BigBlue]

Patrick

Patrick will Draw another dagger and throw it the same goblin when he gets an open shot. **plunging it deep into his heart - rendering the goblin lifeless (oh wait, that's Spidey's job....)**

 

[DarthFerret]

Continue pounding the foe into dust.....
