**OK, if we all pool whatever Gold we have.... can we afford any healing potions? I think that would help tremendously.**

"Hi, Karnage. Nice to meet you. I agree with Rondo, I would like to see if we can afford a healing potion or two before we go back. I know we didn't find much in terms of currency, but perhaps if we all pooled what we have we could get an emergency potion."

Well, the town is still disorganized from the loss of communications with their leaders and the roving packs of monsters wandering around, but with all your leftover gold, you can get 3 healing potions.

Bertrem will use his ties to a templar organization to help in reducing the cost of the potions. At the very least, will attempt to put a positive note on the dealings of the party with the particular merchant/temple/wherever we purchase the stuff. Will also see if he can glean any other useful information dealing with the protectors/ or the plight of this town.

"Welcome, Karnage is it? We all make choices, some to our health, some to our detriment. Let fate and the gods decide!

(I know it's pretty unusual, but you guys are doing a pretty good job role-playing in this kind of format and it is tough for first level characters so... :) )

Unfortunately, while the temple has a sympathetic ear, the increasing raids from the monsters and general chaos make it impossible to lower the price. Three is all that can be spared and only because they know you're trying to find Princess Argenta.

It takes you a bit over two turns to get back to the door of the storeroom and your last encounter and you don't encounter anything along the way.

**Is anything disturbed? I mean, does it look like they discovered the scene?**

"Well, there is a door opposite the storeroom I think we check out first."

**Who should carry our healing draughts? I suggest we spread them out, I'm fairly weak, but I generally stay towards the back and could administer one as needed...**

**looks around**

"Hmmm... it seems that I missed a good deal of fighting..."

**I take my sword and carry it in two hands at all times, always at the ready**

"Do not mind me, just my instincts..."

**Sniffs the air constantly, do I smell anything out of the ordinary?**

*Need copy of map...;)*

"Aye Patrick, I agree we should check that other door out. Cugel, would you give it the once-over and make sure it's untrapped lad?"

*I think the potions should be carried by our guys most vulnerable to death due to lower hit points/armor, like the mage, cleric, and thief.*

**I'm a one hit wonder... one good hit and I'm done for... I don't intend to *use* the potion, I figure I'll be administering to someone in trouble.** I'm hoping to stay at the back and throw daggers as my "weapon"... it was getting surprised by the mongrels under the table which got me in trouble, but I will be allowing others to check things out first from now on I think... :) **

While it seems a good idea to have the cleric carry the potions, my main use seems to be helping with the fighting for the moment, might have the people not involved in melee carry the potions to be administered when neccessary.

**Smells nothing out of the ordinary**

"Hmmm... a brew to heal? I say give them to the ones not up close. My sword and I can handle most that come our way, but should soneone slip behind us they would need them more."

**looks at the wolf head pommel and smiles slightly**

(OOC)I know it seems wierd... but a few friends of mine call me Wolf-Lord sometimes... and a barbarian would think of a wolf as a symbol of power \, so bear with me... that pommel means alot to Karnage. (OOC)

(Hey guys, don't forget to turn off your sigs here.)

Cugel spends a turn examining the door while the others keep guard.

**Karnage walks to the front of the group, his two-handed sword held firmly and stoutly at the ready.**

"Stay behind me less you have good skills with a weapon and feel that you could meet your ancestors without regrets... *to his sword, in a whisper* "Old friend, Beleg-Drauganca... you served my father well, and he before, now serve me once again, and lend me your strength..."

*Note: Beleg-Drauganca means Mighty Wolf Jaws, and no the sword is not magical, it's just a sword... that is, unless Spidy wants to give it innate, latent powers sometime...^_^ just a thought*

*Is it Carnage with a "C" or Karnage with a "K"? Please choose one. Also, if you'd like to lead the way into this room be my guest...but please do not insult us along the way...;)*

"Aye laddie...if'n yer of a mind to go ahead an' open the door then!"

*Thank you for reminding me. Yes, it is Karnage... the K is a little more menacing than the C*

"I warn you now, companions, my sword and I get a little wild when we fight. I have killed a few friends in my berserk as well as enemies, so be carefull, I do not want to have to stop and pray to your ancestors for forgiveness..."

**For now and future reference.... I stay well away from Karnage... I don't need to be felled by a wild swing...**
