(may I see an updated map please - and what was the humanoids response to our leaving - did they stand their ground the whole time?)

The humanoids watch you leave but do not follow.

There is no map; I said at the beginning of this section that you'll have to map or keep track on your own. The best is the description I posted at post #150 of the intersection.

"There seems to be only one passage we haven't tried, or we can go back and try a passage we haven't tried from earlier, even all the way back to the room we fell in." Kurik remarks.

I will go with the majority. I have never been here before, so am clueless on what path is the way out.

Wilhelm's still running? I thought he would have stopped when he saw they weren't following him :)

You travel about 30' down the unexplored path and it turns slightly to the right, where you travel another 30'. The passage bends slightly to the right again where you travel another 30. It bends back slightly to the left where you travel about 80' before it makes a sharp turn to the left. You travel 20' and the passage curves sharply to the left again where you travel 60'. The passage turns sharply to the right wher eyou go for 20', take a sharp right for 10', take a sharp left and 30' in front of you is a door. Coming through that door are 3 dirty-looking humanoids, very similiar to the ones who attacked you when you first dropped into the room a while back. You are taken aback at suddenly encountering someone after all of this time; they take one look at you and charge forward.

Round 1 - Party is surprised.

Since Rondo and Si'Nat are in the lead of the marching order, they get the brunt of the assault. However, they are easily able to fend off thir hasty assailants.

Round 2 - Party gets initiative.

*Cugel will shoot them if he can get a shot in. If not, he'll draw his sword and prepare to engage in melee if these can paralyze like the other bunch.

You're in a passage so only Rondo and Si'Nat can attack. And they already closed to melee. However, because Rondo is a dwarf, Cugel is able to shoot over him at his attacker. He misses by a long shot though; perhaps marching through the long, twisty passages dulled his aim? :)

Kurik also takes this opportunity to fire at Rondo's attacker and hits with a solid shot.

Si'Nat swings at his attacker and kills him with a single blow!
Rondo attempts to do the same to his wounded attacker but just barely misses.

Round 3: Humanoids gets initiative.

Unphased by the loss of one of their party, the two remaining humanoids fight on, with the third one stepping in place of the fallen second to attack Si'Nat. Both actually hit Rondo and Si'Nat, but the strength of their armor saves them from any damage.

Cugel fires and this time hits Rondo's attacker with another solid shot, yet again he seems nonplussed.
Kurik shoots but misses.

Si'Nat slices into his opponent's chest.
Rondo surprisingly misses his opponent again.

Round 4: Humanoids get initiative.

This time, Rondo and Si'Nat easily avoid their attackers.

Cugel misses but Kurik hits with his arrow and brings down Rondo's attacker.

Si'Nat and Rondo swing at the last remaining attacker but fail to connect.

Round 5: Party gets initiative.

Since Si'Nat is still in front of the last attacker, Cugel and Kurik can't get off any shots.

They're not needed though as Si'Nat brings his sword down on the attacker's head, splitting it in two.

Most definately good work, now lets plan these surprise attacks better so that I can be a bit more effective...

Checks to see if anyone is wounded and needs medical attention.

No one was hit, so everyone's status remains the same as before (basically, everyone's healed up or close to it).

"Thanks guys... something about a bloodlust I have, that sometimes, or... almost all the time comes over me..."

"Can we tell where they were coming from - either fallen through the trapdoor like we did, or walked through one of the others?"
