Insane, hostile people. But we haven't seen any evidence that being down here was what drove them insane, so that's not particularly disconcerting. Not yet, anyway. There is no sense in backtracking unless we are truly desperate, at which point perhaps we could try to use the grappling hooks to climb one of those slides. So we should press on..."
