Artifice, eh?
well how about "Colorscrap" or something. Or maybe "Colorkill" or something. I personnaly beilive that that the name should deal with removing colors, rather that playing colorless mana. Oh well thats my opinion :).
In any case, I think counterspell should be 6, Mettalic Grizzly Bears at least 3(what the hell is the pointof artifice if it costs same thing as the card except with colorless man?!!?), disenchant probably 2WW with artifice 5. BTW what did u guy sthink of the card i posted earlier? Its called Skull of Crovax. Anyway, here it is again.

I'd like to make End of Time an instant but
it might be to powerful. What do you think?

If it targeted a player it would be really
awesome. However, I doubt if anyone would
want to play against it. If you & CT want
to change it, go ahead. I'd love to play with
it like that.

I agree with the both of you about the "from
your hand" clause in Spiritual Leader. Its
outta here!!!!! The orginal version was a
little stronger but difficult to word
correctly,so I changed it but never removed
"from your hand"

I'm glad you like some of the cards, I wasn't
sure if they were playable or not. It seems
very difficult the come up with a card that
isn't "broken" yet fun to play with.

How about something like this:

Destroy target land.
You may choose to pay 2BB instead of ~ normal CC, and if you do, ~ becomes a black instant.

I was trying to figure out a way to word a card so that it's type could change. Going from a sorcery to an instant is a good advantage.

I hope I didn't make this thing too powerful. While I am at it, why not make some new thallids.

pay 2 mana plus 1 for each fungus in play: All saprolings are set aside, and a token creature with p/t equal to the number of tokens set aside is put into play under your control, and it has haste. If this token creature leaves play, remove all saproling tokens from the game.

Name a person. You gain protection from the chosen person's decks.

Okay, I'll re-post my ideas here.

Watchfulness 1W
Instant
When you play Watchfulness, choose a color.
Target creature gains protection from the chosen color until end of turn.
For each Watchfulness card in your graveyard, you may select one additional creature to get protection from that color.

Unimpeded Growth 1G
Instant
Target creature gets +2/+2 until end of turn.
That creature gets an additional +1/+1 for each Unimpeded Growth card in all graveyards.

Foreboding Ritual B
Instant
Add BB to your mana pool.
Add an additional B for every Foreboding Ritual in your graveyard.

Okay, now it's in the right area. :)

hey, for this apprentice patch, do you guys wanna make new cards with old abilities? I sure wouldnt mind seeing a spellshaper with fading, echo, and shadow. Or a sliver...

Would this fit into the broken category? :D
