Okay, once again we got off the topic of talking about the Ten Commandments and started talking about DUke again. Much as I'm sure he's overjoyed at the attention :) , let's stop, take a breath, and either continue the current thoughts in Battle or through PMs or go back to the Ten Commandments.

What is it, mostly Japanese Anime-type stuff? That's what it seems from a quick glance atthe link... I didn't hear of it and probably wouldn't have gone anyway since I'm not into that stuff. Az, what happened at the Legions pre-release? And we have to meet up for the Mirrodin one...

Of course, I never got a chance over the weekend to revise/make a deck, but I'll try to do so today by the time it's my turn...

Trying to go in order... First, while some cards aimed at Type 1 are welcome, I agree in that I don't think it will help players to that format unless they build a deck by themselves all by their lonesome. Usually you're still going to need cards from older sets. Second, I agree that Lotus...

"hosing" is such a strong word... :) I believe they said they were "weakening" it, which since blue is pretty strong already doesn't mean that much. WOTC had an article on that a couple of weeks ago, how blue, despite it's "weakened state", made a primary showing in Worlds...

And "must be played from your hand" as in can't be Sneaked or Reanimated or whatever... :)

Did Yu-Gi-Oh in fact imitate Magic, since Magic had face-down creatures ala Mask of Illusion first? :p

I do think the project is admirable and will take lots of effort to get it right. Keep up the good work (from what I'm reading; I don't have time to find the bugs like Rooser :) )
