I just brought up the other thread where we had this discussion (Static-Stompy by Griffy), but to recap, the Static Orb will remain tapped for your opponent's turn so THEY will be able to untap also (unless you untap it another way after your untap step). So it's probably not the BEST combo...

for Gizmo, but I just saw Mundungu is also under the wrong impressions... The Static Orb will NOT untap during your untap step. Only Kill Switch will untap. Thus, unless you have another way of untapping the Orb before your opponent's turn, it will remain tapped and it will not affect him...
