I tend to initially run 23-24 and then depending on how it plays, adjust accordingly. The least I've gone down to is around 20 and that was either for a white weenie deck or a green deck that had lots of mana producers. And depending on what other cards I have that might help, like Thawing...

It's basically Type 1/anything. All cards are acceptable except what's on the banned list and tribe/color hosers, like he lists above.
