Usually a sign of a new player, unless they had some master strategy in mind like forcing the opponent to use the Icy before they were ready... (or they didn't have the mana to use it before it got tapped). :)

I would consider China and Russia a step below the US as I think they are still trying to regroup and get their own act together. However, regarding the US, I think it depends on who is in office. Like I see Clinton as more of a "reactive" guy, doing retributive bombings and such but not...

Heh, I had to wait until Ice Age to get those. And there was such a hue and cry when it was revealed that they were going to be in the set but once they were out, they didn't have a lot of impact, gameplay-wise :)

Nah, didn't have a lot left after also getting Friends: Complete Season 2 on DVD. I was thinking about Age of Mythology but that was too much. I have Stronghold so I knew I wanted Crusader; from what I read of the manual of Age of Empies, it is like it but with more emphasis on castle...

Congrats nodnarb! I think it depends on what the school offers. If it's a highly technical school, it might offer separate degrees in programming and engineering. If it's a liberal arts school (like mine was), "computer science" covered it all (though not in any real depth; I took one "intro"...

BigBlue is looking for info on any type of software that could save a Magic game in progress. Does it even exist? I only know of Apprentice and Magic Suitcase (well, and MTGO, but that's not free) and they don't do that.
