Actually, I do have the Flings. However, they're really one-shot deals since I don't have Yawgmoth's Will or Bosium Strip to re-use them. I'm thinking of taking them out for the cards mentioned above that might give me more bang for my buck :)

Well, played it last night and it would have worked except I was unfamiliar playing with it and made some boneheaded plays, like Recurring Nightmaring my Dragon Tyrant and forgetting that it didn't have haste so it couldn't attack and I didn't have the 4 red for upkeep on my next turn :rolleyes...

Yeah, I don't like the clown either in the art. I like clowns in general, but I can't see how it belongs here (I can't get to the article because of some java runtime error in the script :rolleyes: )

That's not the impression I get; it's more of a "we know a little better now". And to me at least, it's always been understood that they're always looking at change and ways to improve the game, even if the fans don't necessarily agree :)

I haven't read mtg.com enough to know, but my impression is that Alongi just has a pretty big following from his days at the Dojo and after and mtg.com just "snatched" him up as a writer. I don't think that means he's "in the know" nor would he lie about that and say he has no inside info when...
