I disagree. Though I haven't read any of his later stuff, say past 1990, only the Xanth series really has puns (which was kinda the point of the books). There are none to be had in the Bio of a Space Tyrant series or the Phase/Photon books. Nor in The Wyvern (I think that's what it's called)...

Yeah, but Mercadian Masques was a couple of years before the Odyssey block with the graveyard manipulation... I'm not sure what it might have been in response too (it was in R&D when Tempest was out, so maybe Recurring Nightmare...)

Since you're back, maybe you can answer the question: so is your brother-in-law not interested in making a little money on the side and getting the cards at his discount and marking it up a little for others or is there still some Hasbro policy discouraging that sort of thing?

I'm not quite sure I understand you. If Alongi says that he didn't have inside info, how can this be a hint, despite being on MTG.com? I think it's just speculation on his part, that he was observant enough to notice a "trend" and hoping it might mean something, not necessarily that it does.
