You have a very good point there. However, they often use the attitude of, "We know WAY BETTER now. From this point on, things will be WAY X" and then suddenly they do a doubletake and change their minds.

They should act more along the lines of "We're going to experiment with WAY X for now, so expect a little change."

That's not the impression I get; it's more of a "we know a little better now". And to me at least, it's always been understood that they're always looking at change and ways to improve the game, even if the fans don't necessarily agree
