Who Would Support A Third Party?

I see that TICM strongly opposes the party. I won't disrespect that (since it's Christmas), but I'll still kill you (After Christmas).

Riva, yes you may do the flyers and banners and whatnot. We need people to get petitions signed in order to make this party a reality. I'm thinking tournaments...LMK.

Keep supporting the Uninational Party!

Ok, I'm withdrawing any possible support I may give you unless you tell me what the heck your party's platform is!

What are your stances on issues?

Cateran Emperor: Do you know anything about what happened in this past century in the rest of the world? The Communists and the Nazis fought each other in the streets in Germany.

And the Nazis said they were Socialists but were the exact opposite. It is like what would ensue if someone, who was, say, a Democrat, said something like "I am a conservative" and people thought that he was a Republican. This is admittedly a horrible example but just because the Nazis said they were socialists doesn't mean that no matter what they did they were socialists. They were the opposite. Socialism is essentially the political form of Communism, but the Nazi's weren't really socialist, or at least they weren't anymore when they rose to power.

Riva Iron-Grip: You have much more productive ways to waste your time. For one thing, you are about eight years older than fuzzy is. Secondly, you don't live in the metro Washington DC area do you? That's where he lives, and the most he could possibly get is a local seat somewhere.

He has no stances on issues.

BTW, because I wouldn't want fuzzy to embarrass himself trying to fight me, I'll at least try a little to help... If you want to advertise at tournaments, only do ones like Friday Night Magic that are at night when there is a greater chance that your future vassals will be drunk. That's the only way you might pull this off.

Actually socialism is an economic, not a political, form. It is a mix between capitalism and communism. In socialism the government owns the biggest businesses, i.e. steel, medical insurance, airplane and ship building, and other industries, while all of the rest is privately owned.

I am fully aware of the past century's events TICM. Completely regardless of their idiotic actions, the Nazis were self described socialists.

Look at the Third Reich.

-Only one party, every person was either a member of it, in a concentration camp, or fled the country.

-Major German industries were prohibited from selling to any international party the Nazis said they could not barter with

-The youth of Germany was forced into military training in peace time. The alternative was once again to leave or die.

-The Nazi government controlled all media outlets in the nation

All this is part of socialist philosophy, albeit a bizarre twist on some of it.

No nodnarb, socialism is a political philosophy, not an economic one. It does have far more hand in the economy than most political philosophies (such as democracy) do though.
