A friend of mine and I are starting a new political party, the Uninational Party. In order to make this a reality, we need your support. Soon, you can check our website at:

http://www.uninational-party.org

It's up now, but only says that it is under construction.

We are not joking. If you are willing to SERIOUSLY support us, please post here. We are trying to have a candidate on ballots in 2004.

Thank you!

Fuzzy

you have to be 35 to run for president, 25(?) to run for senate, and 21(?) to run for house. But you can be any age to start a party, it's just that he won't be able to run for any office.

umm.. what exactly is your platform?

I'll support if it includes the establishment of a monarchy over the world, with me as the ruler.
Yeah, I'd rule nicely. :D :D :D

Tzyver for God Emperor of Earth, because the word 'king' sounds stupid...

The Uninational Party represents the people. What you want is what the party wants.

BTW, I never said that I would run, just the Uninational Party. And yes, this is not an elaborate joke.

I am the people. And I say, "the people want a dictatorship, under the rule of our great god-emperor Tzyver"

The people have spoken.

But seriously. Isn't the will of the people what all political parties try to represent? That's how you get into office, you share the opinion of the people, and they vote for you. Truth is, you can't represent the will of the people. The majority of the people, maybe, but not all of them. Gotta narrow down your platform, fuzzy.

The will of the people is what all political parties at least try to pretend to represent.

I need to write a scathing anti-Uni-National Party novel... hmmmm..... what should I call it? How about "Wundindlinyg Farm"?

But seriously, there is no way in hell I'd support this joke of a party. I'd sooner vote Republican.

And just because he can't become president doesn't mean he can't be voted for. One can't be sworn into office if one is not at least 35 years old, but one can be elected.

I think their policy is to know enough adults and people of voting age on a supposedly personal basis that they'll think "Oh! A political party! How cute!" and vote for them, hence electing one of them to office, where they can fudge it for long enough to get more of their kind into office, when they will rule supreme over us in a manner similar to the dreams of Dogbert. We must stop this madness before it starts (which is scheduled to happen on April 12, 2003 - because)!

But seriously, fuzzy is incompetent to be president. Granted, he's smarter than Bush, but that ain't saying much. Their campaign slogan was going to be "(Insert Witty Slogan Here)". I am dead serious.

To support a third political party, wouldn't we have to support two already anyway?

Just thought I should point out that there is no such thing as a communist nazi. Communism is where all people are compleatly equal, no one is better then any one else. And the perpose of the nazis was to kill everyone that wasn't blone, blue eyed, and christain becuase they were not equal.

I thought about running for the anarchist part a while back... I'm still tempted...

Actually HM, the Nazis were socialists, the political form of communists.

But I'll not get into political debates right now after what happened with the last time.

Yay capitalism!
