Silemitas: The Search of Lost Time(?)

"I am Helata, a sorceress from Nemita. I like helping people and I want to become better at it. My father used sorcery to help others too, and I want to follow in his footsteps, except for the whole insanity part. He was quite mad, actually. But enough about that..."

During lunch, your employer takes about the mission you'll be embarking upon...

"I may not look as much to you adventurers and specialists, but I've my share of wilderland experiences... though this specific ruins we shall be headed to are some of the most insurmountable in our fair Silemitas. I've little worries of our arrival there, for the good Lady" (nods to lady Mi'Ra'Kle) " has power enough to take us anywhere we require, but the inwards of that place so ancient are unbeknownst to any and all still yet living."

After all have eaten their fill, Sceorio sighs a bit and leans back.

"Have any questions that need be answered before we depart?"

"Does anyone mind if I take some of this food with us for the journey? and is anyone in need of clothing or other objects needing minor repairs..."

"What exactly is it that you are looking for? What do you expect us to find in these ruins? Oh, and before I forget.. how much will you pay us for our services?"

Sceorio looks at Morthil smugly...

"Ah yes... want. I believe a tidy sum of 200 gold pieces apiece, whatever treasures you might find in the ruins itself, and your names enscribed into the analogs of history might suffice... but I've little dealing with the Vinidak Finders myself to know how so you've been pampered in the past my skinny friend." He says with an intense smirk on his lips... "And as to the job itself. We are to delve into those ruins, chase down those raiders whom fled and, if required to, kill them in order to reclaim the item which they stole from The House of The Last Thought."

Morthil smiles as Sceorio talks and responds: "That seems indeed most generous for such a simple task. One last thing, what did you say this item was, again?"

Lady Mi'Ra'Kle sighs slightly, stands up, and leaves the room through a door in the back. Sceorio observes this with a sad look on his face, then turns to look directly into Morthil's eyes with his own swirling red ones.

"The Emblem of Metallia, a jewel that has 18 facets, each engraved with an image of one of the races of dragon, and 1 blank facet that is said to foretell the future as well as the past. It is the very reason for the existance of The House of The Last Thought, as it is said to know all that has and all that has yet to happen. They also took one other item, of which the shrine does not require it's return and has even placed as an added additional reward in the happening of it's reclamation, one of the 'Keys of Eyilihte'*..."

Sceorio looks at Jirandiel, sighs, and nods once. Jirandiel stands and follows Mi'Ra'Kle out then.

*Keys of Eyilihte: these are symbols of power that are a focal point for the energy of one of the 5 moons that occupy the skies of Silemitas. There are over 50 keys for each moon, and just possessing one is said to give good fortune and prowess. They are a commonly known item to come up in the stories of minstrels and bards, though few have ever seen one.

(I guess that I can take it as general that no one has questions left. Ok, moving along)

Outside the back of the tavern, Lady Mi'Ra'Kle and Jirandiel stand waiting for you. Sceorio looks between them, nods once again, and turns to face your group.

"And we've a short walk ahead of us. There is a clearing further in where which we've stored our resources and supplies. Once we're supplied and stocked, the good Lady shall take us to our destination."

The 3 of them seem to turn as one and start to walk through the somewhat densely nettled woodland and, upon reaching a fair-sized clearing, they separate. Sceorio goes to a small pile of backs and bags laying in a well concealed hole and Jirandiel goes and checks what looks like a small, covered wagon with on wheels and a few large straps hanging from it's side.

Lady Mi'Ra'Kle moves to the center of the clearing and stands there.

Jaksen rushes forward to the bags and starts to open them, investigating what they hold...... "Hmmm, this doesn't seem very interesting.....," tosses one toward Sy'Kl, "Here maybe you can use it."

each of the bags is prepared roughly the same way: ropes, a few hooks, 2 rock hammers each, a pick, a few brushes, grid parchment, a couple ink wells with quills. Nothing exciting, just normal delver's gear.

"We've had the supplies prepared here for the past week, and have a few packs of dried rations as well as water skins" Sceorio looks over at Mi'Ra'Kle and grins a little. "Me thinks our departure shall commence shortly, if you'd all be so kind as to stand at the edges of the clearing to give the good lady some room, our 'transport' would probably love it if you'd not get to close till she's ready."

Jirandiel laughs slightly then walks back into the trees a little ways.

Morthil will also take a bag, then return to the clearing, keeping a close eye on Mi'Ra'Kle.

Suddenly, Lady Mi'Ra'Kle's body gives a bright flash, then begins to pulsate...
