My top card is a Wild Might.. apparently Blastoderm gets +1/+1, and another +4/+4 if you don't pay (2)

And still no copy.. wouldn't want you to get another Rox :)

And Blastoderm does get the fading counters, because it says "as it comes into play" at which point it isn't a creature yet.

Another question: when does the Chaos Roll happen? Start of your untap phase? At the beginning of your upkeep? In this mystical time between turns (Wall of Boom)? Can you respond to targets being chosen?

About the Blastoderm : oh.

Answer to your question: The Chaos Roll happens before the Untap Phase - it's a "New Phase", in effect. I don't believe you can respond to it but not positive - I searched for old Chaos games I've played here and the link to some Chaos Home Page is broken (Page no Longer Exists). But I think you can't respond - you can only do what the Roll says (like if it says you can pay to continue the effect, you can).

I can't pay the 2, so the Blastoderm is a mighty 10/10 right now! :eek:
