**at this rate, that ought to be sometime in the next decade... :D **

We gather the largest most interesting pieces of the statues... then we'll proceed through the Southwestern door (After checking for traps and doing the standard listen checks etc...)

The largest pieces seem to be part of a forearm and a thigh. Who's carrying them?

The door doesn't seem to be trapped and no one can hear anything behind it. Opening it, you see a passage heading west. Going for 30', it seems to split to the west and south, with a door 20' south in the west wall.

** I will gather a few pieces myself, not the big ones - maybe fist sized or so... Anyone else claims whatever parts you want to carry...**

We'll Head South.

Karnage notices that some of the people have picked pieces of the statues up... then shrugs and takes a few pieces himself then follows the group, grumbling about strange traditions...

I assume you bypass the door since you know where it goes? ;)

You head south and turn east. 30' more you come to a door in the south wall. The passage continues east for at least 30' more that your torchlight shows.

We check out the door, if it's safe we head in. (I believe it's almost time to rest again... so much for the rotation helping... :) )

You don't hear anything behind the door nor find any traps, so you open the door to find...

a room about 30' east-west and 20' north-south, with the door in the middle of the north wall. In the center of the room is a folding screen with three panels. The screen is five feet high and six feet wide. From behind the screen you hear a forlorn wailing sound and see two vaguely human-like shadows. The shadows are about four and one half feet tall and have no heads or arms. Their legs are indistinct. The eerie shadows dance wildly about.

**I second Cugel's emotion... "Excuse us... we were just leaving..." Close the door and run.... ok, not really what I do... I sort of wait to see how the rest of the party reacts...**

Karnage mearly readies his blade and waits for an order from the others... or a sign to start chopping^_^

*At first hesitant to do anything other than leave, Cugel doesn't see his sentiment echoed much among the rest of the group. He brings an arrow into one hand while whispering.*

"So, are we going to try to deal with these things, or would we rather skip them and come back later?"

*I'd say come back later...I mean, how often have we seen Karnage being prudent?

Sounds like Armageddon day to me...:p*

"Well... I guess I'll rid us of the guesswork..."

(Readies his sword, enters the room and prepares for swinging as he tosses the folding screen aside...)

(Thanks train...)

Everyone is taken aback at Si'Nat's bold move. Even more surprising is what is revealed when the folding screen is tossed aside: a pair of dressmakers dummies with sleeveless dresses on them and a lit lantern behind them. A couple of chests sit on the floor.

*lol!!*

Karnage just grins and laughs as they find it's not enemies, but dummies... *Que pun*

Investigation shows that the area behind the folding screen becomes a wind tunnel for the air coming through the door.

(I'm gonna give Cugel 100 extra XP for actually asking that question :) )
