"We are in trouble boys... That one guy got away and will certainly raise the alarm. I say we make haste out of here to rest and recover."
Patrick quickly searches the orc bodies looking for anything of value easilly accessible, then waits for the rest of the party to make our way to the exit.
**Spidey, here's something I should have asked before... Did these guys (humans) look like they'd been fighting with orcs/goblins as they'd said? (ie show signs of battle, blood, etc...) I'm trying to determine if they are in league with the orcs, or if the orcs are possibly another invading force... Thanks**
*So much for keeping one alive for questioning/torturing...Oh well...
We search ALL the bodies taking anything we might find useful, bind our wounds, rest as neccessary, and head out via the shortest route to heal and recover spells, using the modified marching order minus the enemies in our midst...*
Cugel finds the shattered remains of the arrow in the hallway further down.
You make it out of the castle without further incident and the Protectors open the way out through the red field. You rest and heal up and regain spells and are ready to tackle the castle again.
Not doing anything spectacular in town myself... Maybe grab a drink at the pub and hear if there's any recent news outside while we've been in the castle.
**OK, so from my understanding, there is naught to do in town as it is currently in a state of anarchy. So, therefore, we shall resume our trip into the castle, I propose we treat it as though we've never been there as far as checking out rooms etc...**
When we arrive in the entrance hall, are the portcullis open or closed? I suggest we check out the 2 lever rooms to be sure they are empty...
