D&D: Palace of the Silver Princess

(I should have the sword out at this point and will move right to flank, instead of swinging... This should get me out of the way of any errant swings... and position me in place of a good strike while the beastie is attacked from 2 sides next turn if it comes to that...)

*will attempt to hit one of them with an arrow*

 

[Spiderman]

Karnage's controlled slash slashes only air...

Patrick's second dagger takes the creature in the eye and it goes down.

Bertrem's blow is deflected by the creature's armor.

Rondo decapitates the last creature.

Now that the combat is over, you can take in some more details of the room. It's 50 by 30, with the door in the middle of the west wall.

(I'll begin going through the drawers and cabinets that these guys were going through... I'll pick up two sets of utensils from the scatterings on the floor at the least...)

Spidey What were their weapons?...(looking for a PM on items found while searching cabinets please...)

"Well... so much for trying to be friends with these guys... seems like they'd be really boring and would probably not bathe too frequently..."

They were carrying short swords and wearing leather armor.

"Huh...Anybody wanna take a look at this wound lads? I'm losing a bit o' blood here..."

*kewl...decapitation...*

 

[DarthFerret]

Examines and Binds the wound with salve and bandages (assuming standard clerical equipment**). Then will examine the bodies to see if he can tell anything about who/what they are and where they come from.

 

[Prince RXI]

Silently sheaths his big sword and clasps his hands in front of him. After a second, Karnage joins in the searching.

Patrick retrieves his daggers, wipes them off on anything resembling a rag...

Then stands "guard" in the hallway.

"Thanks Bertrem...but I think I need a bit more than a bandage. This wound is pretty serious...better pass me a healing draught."

*I took 6 points of damage - the potion heals 1-8 points, right Spidey?*

 

[Spiderman]

(Actually, it cures 2-7 or paralysis (although how getting a paralyzed person to drink such a potion is beyond me, but it's supposed to be like the cleric cure light wounds spell))

"Well - searching through all this mess has been a complete bust... these guys must have been looking for someting else... and if not food then what?..."

Administers one of his potions to Rondo.

"Man these guys are UGLY!!....but at least there were no rats *shudder* this time. Well, what say you guys.....our next move? I have no idea what they might have been looking for....could be behind the next door."

 

[Spiderman]

Rondo looks MUCH better after drinking the potion.

"Anyone search the bodies for more than armor/weapons?"

Onward and upward... well lateral anyways.

"Thanks Bertrem! That helped out a lot - I feel great! "

*After tidying up a bit, I think we should continue on down the hallway. Did I see another door just south of here?*

After finding nothing of any use, Karnage grunts, moves out into the hallways, and looks down the hall at the other door

*searches door for traps and prizes*

Kneels down by the door Cudgel is checking to see if he can hear anything beyond it.
