Crucible of Worlds

You guys are missing that you can cycle the land from your hand, then go ahead and play it anyway. It's kinda a weird one-sided Horn of Greed. Of course, many decks with Horn of Greed actually want their opponents to draw those cards, but oh well.

Well I was thinking along the lines of lightning rift and other cycle effect cards, but good point Rooser.

those pro-guys may be good at breaking sets... but us casual guys are good at creating heaps of ideas for cards as soon as we hear 'bout them...:D

I'm building a deck that works with Crucible and Strip Mine:

4x Crucible of Worlds
1x Strip Mine
4x Sylvan Scrying
4x Wasteland
4x BoP
4x Llanowar Elves
1x Tinker
4x Fabricate
etc.

Any thoughts?

It might be kind of fun to play a BurningBridge variant with
Crucible or Worlds and Seismic Assault. Burn something than
play your land. Of course, B-rings would be included as well.

Hmm I might want to keep Living Wish MD and just SB Strip Mine. Thats an interesting dilemma. Is there anything I could Living Wish for that would get me to Strip Mine somehow?

Edit: I like my Burning Bridges with Sulfuric Vortex ^^

something you could wish for that would get you to stirp mine...

instead of just wishing for the mine?... It's best to just wish for the mine - but it gives you other land/beef options for the deck...

you could easily wish for hermit druid, let him turn your deck uside down, and just play the mine everyturn from there...

but you need to make sure you don't draw...;)

That could be what he was thinking of - but you couldn't wish for a crop rotation... at least, with Living wish.

Obstinate Familiar!

As for my question, I am just wondering if it is better to put the Mine in the SB and wish for it or MD and Sylvan Scrying for it.

Living Wishes - Strip Mines or Terravores
Explorations - Recoup from the tempo lost
Strip Mines - Broken Land Destruction
Trembles - Quick and efficient land Destruction
Terravore - Huge aftera few rounds, wishable

---- Possible Cameos ---

Braids Cabal Minion - Stall, stall, stall
Siesmic Mage - Pitch Destroy, Play land from Graveyard
Fireblast - 5 Damage for 2 replayable lands...ooh yea!

There's tons of good cards available with powerful effects requring land sacs...especially from Prophecy.
