Has anyone here played with DracoPlasm? I think we're overthinking him a bit... I don't think he has to be all that large, he's a 2CC Shivan (with hurrendous upkeep)... We need Mana more than any other resource (for Upkeep and Firebreathing. I think we'll need a Mana Flare, but I hate MF since it helps your opponent too. Perhaps someone else knows a better Mana producer.

In the meantime, one more utility creature. Good Ol' FTK

That sort of changes things a little, but I don't think we should intend to sell the farm with DP by sacrificing a ton when he's brought in...

I agree that there's no need to sell the farm, but if Dracoplasm is going to be the centerpiece card, then there ought to be plenty of cards in the deck that interact favourably with Dracoplasm. We're doing a pretty good job of keeping Dracoplasm relevent, but generically speaking, it would be easy to ignore the proposed centerpiece and just build a deck of the required colours that the centerpiece happens to belong to.

I agree that the "4 of" card should be the centerpiece and the other cards should not "take over" the deck.
With these first 3 decks, we have done a relatively good job of sticking to the "centerpiece" and I would like this to continue for the rest of the decks in this series.

I really like that people are putting in their reasons for picking each card.
