I have nothing i can do during the attack, but I am confused....cleansing beam only does 2 damage to the llanowar that is 3/3, therefore, survives....unless I am missing something....

Each green creature gets two damage, the smaller elf dies, the bigger elf loses its bonus and dies as well

So DF can't do anything about the attack either, so we take 7 damage and the Lackey triggers.
