...I know this is not a serious thread, but I will share a more serious poem here.
Although incomplete, the poem makes a clear message. This is unedited work, so if some parts sound unmusical, it is quite expected. The first part of the poem was composed by two friends of mine - I joined them later and added my own insights and revisions to it. Beyond the first part, all other parts of the poem are of my own creation - my friends did not like where I was taking the poem, but again, I did not exactly find much taste and sophistication where they were leading it either.
Few parts of this poem are inspired by the Bible.
The Evil onto Light
Part I: The Child
I rise as I sink beneath the depths of mystery.
Mirrors made me look at the ways of life –
Before me, stood the Mosaic of the truths.
Before me, a question mark and a doubt.
Of agonizing moments we experience –
Love and impatience, together in one sphere of sight.
It’s forbidden to talk, impossible to move.
Silence is a virtue! What is a God’s word!
Punish me now! – I want to feel the exact pain.
Then reintroduce the joy, till I differentiate both.
Open my heart for I desire to know.
Is it madness that one beholds?
Is it, when the walls of obscurity are taken down?
Answer me, you looking sure Man!
If I lose my faith, I lose my mind.
If I lose my mind, I lose the world.
Part II: Masquerade
It is not against myself that I move,
Bleeding myself the pain of leaving me behind.
But it is that I move with myself that I am pained.
To my desires I run, to my own embrace –
And thus I run away from and against the world.
Towards pleasure and happiness the world moves,
Weary and away from the slightest pains.
Liberation from pain – a movement of deliberation.
They have lost all tracks of time,
Thus they are fond of quickness,
Of Holy words and instant Nobility.
They are wisest wise men,
They stand on the highest peaks,
The highest mountains,
But neither have they climbed to this highness
Nor do they know the art of climbing –
They have stolen high words
And assumed a Good appearance.
And now they walk amongst us
Reciting what they have stolen.
Against their desires they run.
Free of thought, for they know of you,
That for you are taught,
And to run to you they want,
Running away from their shadows.
But he who runs from his shadow never escapes.
It is their secret wishes and self-victimizations,
Their vengeances and hatred,
That they begin to seek you,
Out of bad feelings and bad spirits,
That they begin to seek you,
But you are beyond what they seek:
They seek an end to their tears and longing,
And a punishment to all those they hate –
In your name they practice their base instincts,
In the name of Holiness.
It is in this manner that they seek.
Towards you they leap,
Out of desperate wanting
Running against their desires for their desires,
Against their thoughts for their thoughts –
Running towards a mirror.
A mirror shatters when one runs into it with such desperation,
And this is the shattering of reflections.
Part III: Faith
Blessed is he who reads aloud the words of the prophecy.
And blessed are those who hear.
But silence is a virtue! What is a God’s word!
They see the Deus absconditus
They announce the Deus evidens,
And a home they have given him.
And thus they have denounced their faith.
Victorious Man! Defeated God!
Part IV: Overcoming
This is the victory that has overcome the world.
Deliver Me O god, O godly! Deliver Me out of My Good.
Forgive Me My Holiness. Forgive Me My Forgiveness.
Punish My repentance. I have moved against you. I am guilty.
Deliver Me O god, O godly! Punish Me!
For I love My pain, thus I seek My nobility.
Punish Me now! – I want to feel the exact pain.
Then reintroduce the joy, till I differentiate both.
Open My heart for I desire to know.
It is not against Myself that I move,
Bleeding myself the pain of leaving me behind.
But it is that I move with Myself that I am pained.
To My desires I run, to My own embrace –
And thus I run away from and against the world.
If I lose My faith, I lose My mind.
If I lose My mind, I lose the world.
And thus I have found My faith!
And thus I have found My mind!
Part V: The Antichrist
There is one Evil I must repent:
My repenting of what the World pronounces “Evil.”
For what the world pronounces it always mispronounces.
Deliver me O god, O godly! Punish me!
Deliver me from the Peace of the world!
Pronounce the Good – Evil.
Pronounce the Evil – Good.
Pronounce the World – Antichrist.
Pronounce the Child – the Evil onto Light.
Amen!
