I think WOTC felt Bolt was strong, maybe too strong, when they were designing Ice Age which was basically when Alpha/Beta was designed. It was originally in the set but was pulled in favor of Incinerate (I believe my post to Zadok a long time ago about Ancestral Recall being part of the 3-for-1...

So how does it fix them?

No, no... I was just trying to get it clear for myself, since I said I don't know anything about the parliamentary system. So if we had it here, the political parties would still have most likely chosen their candidates, but we would vote for the parties themselves, not the candidates.

I missed the Sorcery part... but in all honesty, all of those situations take a pale second place to using D.R. as casting a Hippy, or Choking Sands, or Negator, or Erg Raider with an Unholy Strength. In that respect, I think those kind of situations will be used for an Exclusive Ritual and so...

with CE, this is rather cool and interesting. Like some newspapers from other countries said, you don't see troops and tanks out to "enforce" the vote. And Japan is apparently amazed that we're doing such things in public! Admitting errors and recounting, that is.
