I don't think WOTC is "carrying characters over", they want to end the storyline and start anew with fresh characters. Like MrXarvox said, some will probably survive just to have a happy ending and have the good guys win, but that's it.

Well, like Zadok said, it's been floundering ever since that big snafu last spring. Before they were having money troubles; my guess is that was still the reason they had to shut down (couldn't keep solvent). I guess it's one less site I can take off until they get back (IF they ever do).

I've read most of his books but I missed those between Without Remorse and The Bear and the Dragon. I just read the latter while waiting for my wife to finish the Potter books and was slightly disappointed. It was all buildup and short on action (which I love). Red Storm Rising was the best...
