Personally, I think Mark has been around pretty much since the beginning, even if he wasn't part of the original playtest team, and "has the right" to do it if he wants. Obviously WOTC doesn't have a problem with it, why should we?

Nit picky detail, but if you're passing priority before damage goes on the stack, then it must be during the Declare Blockers step. If that's the case, damage hasn't been assigned yet - it gets assigned right at the beginning of the Damage Dealing Step. So either you're passing priority in the...
