Not really. It used Great Furnace though, in order to run Shrapnel Blast. And it used Incinerate/Isochron Sceptre, but the rest was pretty standard...

I'd rather have an Ancestral Recall in my starting hand than a Mana Drain or Force of Will. Also, if I'm going to tutor for one of them, it'll be the Ancestral... Countermagic is good, but card advantage is important to maintain, and Ancestral will often draw more of that potent countermagic...

Looking at your list and the ones marked with * as most dangerous, I can see that it's probably based primarily on which ones are more viscious than which ones are more poisonous... Filaria are parasitic worms and I don't know anything about them being poisonous, but I wouldn't doubt it...

I guess that Magic might have done better if it had been more like poker in some ways...

I think one of the problems is that the storm card that says "win the game" costs six mana, and Dragonstorm costs nine... But still, it is a cool idea. Some stuff that might work... Dark Ritual Cabal Ritual Seething Song Mana Geyser Sol Ring Grim Monolith Mana Vault Priest of Gix Burnt...

White had Leeches I know, but it's VERY bad (which is why it found a spot as a secondary kill condition in Relentless Pony)... Black had some poisonous attackers, but they were only mildly evasive and pretty weak too. Um, Crypt Cobra, Swamp Mosquito, Pit Scorpion, and Suq'Ata Assassin (I think)...
