The thoughts I had on animal magnetism began with Riptide Shapeshifter. I looked at the shapeshifter thinking it could a slower, bluer, but more versatile old school Oath of Druids, (With teh Gaea's Blessing Ability just built right in). The Shapeshifter is more versatile because you can name the creature type, therefore allowing you to pick and choose which creature you "oath" out. I thought of then using animal magnetism to shoot through cards faster, especially since my creature base really wouldn't be that big, but big enough that 5 cards are liable to contain a piece of fat, ora shapeshifter which can promptly put a piece of fat into play. Anyway, I've never even come close to writing a deck list, but I thought you guys might want to hear the shapeshifter idea.
