The first card might be worded bad but I think you'll understand
my intentions. I need a name too. The second card is for MP. The
last card is another attempt at instant speed creature removal for
    White.

What should I change to make them better?

    Card Title:~card name~
    Color: Green
    Type: Instant
    Cost: 1GG
    Pow/Tgh: N/A
Card Text: The next time an opponent would play a spell put X
1/1 green Leech token creatures into play. Where X is equal to
    that cards converted mana cost.

    "Edited per trains insite"

    Card Title: ?
    Color: Red
    Type: Creature-Dragon
    Cost: 2R
    Pow/Tgh: 1/3
Card Text: Dragons cost 1 less to play. Dragons can not attack you.

    Card Title: Overwhelm
    Color: White
    Type: Instant
    Cost: 2WW
    Pow/Tgh: N/A
    Card Text: Destroy target creature.
For each White creature you control Overwhelm cost
    1 less colorless to play.
  2. train The Wildcard!!!...

    1 - (Sudden) Infestation? - nice...
2 - Maybe Draconian(I know), or Hellkite Hatchling... A baby dragon would draw adult dragons - the cheaper casting cost, and possibly stop them from fighting near a baby???...
3 - Maybe "Cleansing" and not able to target W creatures??? Overwhelm just seems like overrun... or waylay...
  3. Spiderman CPA Man in Tights, Dopey Administrative Assistant

The only thing I can think of for Overwhelm is that most time you're gonna cast it for WW since you should already have at least 2 White creatures in play by the time you cast it. Whether that means it's too cheap, I don't know... if it's fine, I guess it's okay.

    train & Spiderman,

Its a weak Swords, with a little dis-advantage post mass removal
I'm trying to come up with something in flavor for White that
could be main deckable. Overwhelm seems logical. With troops
in play it should be easier to Overwhelm the opposition.

    Multi-player card update(good/bad?)

    Card Title: Screecher
    Color: Red
    Type: Creature-Dragon
    Cost: 2R
    Pow/Tgh: 1/2
Card Text: Dragons cost 1 less to play.
Dragon cards can be played anytime an instant could be played.
  5. Ferret CPA Founder, Slacker

That's not a bad card, but let me throw a hypotetical situation at you:

You have four Screechers (or two w/ two Clones - or whatever) out. That would mean that Shivan Dragons would only cost RR to play! As much as I love Dragons, I'm afraid this would just be wrong...

    -Ferret

    "...Reign of toasted critters..."
  6. FoundationOfRancor The Gunslinger

Thats true, but.....you would need four Screecher's in play.
  7. Ferret CPA Founder, Slacker

It wouldn't be that hard w/ cards like Clone being reprinted...

    -Ferret

    "...you can actually have eight!"
  8. FoundationOfRancor The Gunslinger

If you wasted a clone on a screecher....thats just, not cool. I dont care if it makes it easier to cast a shivan for RR. Its a clone!
  9. Ferret CPA Founder, Slacker

I would think of it as an investment toward more Dragons in my deck...of course, I wouldn't be caught dead w/ a Red/Blue Deck. It would too slow by itself...

    -F e r r e t

"Red & Green will always be my combo of choice!"
  10. Sammy Dead-O wasting away again

Of course, that same situation is possible with a Thornscape Familiar, but no one's jumping at the chance to use it these days...
  11. Jigglypuff Big Cute Pink Thing

I'm stumped about the first card. I've pretty much decided that it can't work as a spell; it has to be an enchantment along the lines of Mark of Fury.

    ~ Card Name ~
    {1}{G}{G}
    Enchantment
When an opponent plays a spell, you may pay {1}{G}{G} and return ~this~ to your hand. If you do, put X 1/1 green Leech creature tokens into play, where X is the converted mana cost of that spell.

Sceecher lets everyone play dragons for one less colorless so
I was thinking it would be ok. It shares its ability with the other
players. As Sammy Dead-O pointed out, its basically a limited
familiar. I'd like to see WoTc print a few more Tribe friendly
cards. The Sceecher would fit right into a Dragon Tribe deck. It
might be to powerful though. It seems to have such a limited
use I doubt if anyone but us casual-Multi-player guys and gals
    would even bother with it.

    EoT Shivan for RR :D

    About that first card:

It would probably work as an Enchantment. I was trying to
come up with a low cc Green Instant that might be worth
playing. It needed to stay in flavor for Green yet give me
some type of advantage. Its probably a weak idea to begin
with but you have to start somewhere.

New card: edited per jp's insite

    Card Title: Hand of Fate
    Color: Gold
    Type: Instant
    Cost: UB
    Pow/Tgh: N/A
Card Text: Target opponent reveals a card at random. If that
cards total converted mana cost is an even number, draw that
many cards. If that cards total converted mana cost is an odd
number, he or she draws that many cards. (X and land equal zero)
  13. Jigglypuff Big Cute Pink Thing

I really hope you meant "even number" on Hand of Fate.

EDIT: I still haven't come up with a way to make the instant version work properly. Maybe it can't be done.

The instant might work like that (I'm not sure if this is what you want) :

    Card Title:~card name~
    Color: Green
    Type: Instant
    Cost: 1GG
    Pow/Tgh: N/A
Card Text: Put X 1/1 green Leech token creatures into play. X is equal to
the converted mana cost of target spell controlled by an opponent.
  15. Captain Caveman New Member

    Lotus Mox,

That's what I had in mind. As long as the wording would allow a
player to play my card at some point and get the X tokens from
an opponents spells converted mana cost. I'm not very clear
about using the stack so I'm not sure if the idea can be worded
so that it works. If your idea will work that way, I will add that
    version to my set.(work in_slow_progress)
  16. Thallid Ice Cream Man 21sT CeNTuRy sChIZoId MaN

At this point someone could play a spell and you could play this in response. I think that's how you wanted it.

    Here's another suggestion:

    (non text info the same)
The next time a spell controlled by an opponent resolves this turn, put X (token info) tokens into play where X is the converted mana cost [this is the official term] of the spell.

This is a little more unpredictable in that it allows a player to respond with something else, possibly something cheap, and for that to count as the mana cost. It's up to you; that last part was just a suggestion.

The version you have now works the way you want it to work.
  17. Jigglypuff Big Cute Pink Thing

Lotus Mox's suggestion works pretty good. This version could be pretty cute as well.

Counter target spell controlled by an opponent. Put X 1/1 green Leech creature tokens into play, where X is the converted mana cost of that spell.

    Green counterspell baby!

    (- Steve -)
  18. Lotus Mox New Member

The green counterspell would really mess up the color pie.

Maybe if the countered spell's controller would get the saprolings... :)
  19. Jigglypuff Big Cute Pink Thing

You're right. I completely forgot about that. Green should only get mana-producers and inferior creatures. How silly of me.

    (- Steve -)
  20. Captain Caveman New Member

The whole idea behind this card was a green counter-spell. But
Green can not do that as a single color so I figured there has to
be a way for Green to get an instant that is in flavor and can
    produce an unexpected creature advantage.

Leech token equal Mana Drain ;)
