I like that.... (Thanks for adding my snake)....

What's wrong with Counter Beats? the U/G deck I made which is cheese has an infinity combo... only getting the one card a day keeps one from shaping the deck, I tried changed things up a bit with the Hippo I thought... I'm done w/ Counters... I just like the snake...

I like the snake too and it fits well in this deck, but I just don't think that a any deck that is counter based is, well, casual.

So, to you casual means completely fun... if you take counter/control from blue (Neither of which are truly casual)... then what are you left with? expensive flyers and bizarre overpriced cards... Yes, a deck of 20 counterspells is not casual... (yeah, I have one myself which no one likes me to play...) but, I play MP, and you need them to keep up.... I have seen another deck type work in U/G among my friends... all pump and cheap fliers... they are fast and lethal, but if they get drawn out... ineffective.

I didn't say no counters completely, but having counterspells being a staple of the deck defeats the purpose of casual. They can be there, but I just don't think we need to go crazy on them.

My point is: We have 6 blue spells and half of them are counterspells. Where's the fun in that?
