Hand was all too slow crap - 3 lands, erratic portal (too slow to deal w/ painter before turn 3), Acquire - way too slow, but was going to grab grindstone..., Transmute Artifact
This draw was Shadowmage Infiltrator...

shakes head.... It started out soooooo promising w/ a perfect game 1 draw...

To be utterly honest... I had Grindstone on my list to draft (w/o the combo I didn't even know about Painter's servant) I just left it too long obviously.

I only found out about it later on after I checked out some Vintage deck lists. It's a nice little 2 card cheap combo. Doesn't protect itself that well and doesn't generally combo the same turn but it can definitely win a game or too. I'm just wondering if my deck is going to have land problems the whole time.
