Zan,

You really don't need to know anything. Just come up with a character idea and Rando will let us know how he wants us to introduce ourselves.

Right, Rando?

Once that happens, he just keeps the storyline going and we get to say what we want our characters to be doing.

I think that i am going to go for a more traditional D&D style adventure this time. A little more straight forward, a little less epic. Some time this week, I post a thread so taht we can make characters.

(A hooded figure walks up to Rando in the tavern he every so often frequents. The figure snaps out a marlboro, and pulls his left hand out of his robes palm up producing a small ball of flame. After lighting his smoke.he speaks.)"Well old friend I'm ready, and I have learned sssssome new trickssss." Without missing a beat Rando says"yeah umm real cool snake, If you can get us espn on the tv I'll be impressed then."(Stunned for a moment then I rember what a Freekybear he is.)"Allright alright jeez ya hardass,I'm gonna go shoot some eightball till we start." Rando turns back to his beer and the game,(talking to the barkeep)"It ain't that he's a bad guy or nothing, but somtimes that lisp gets on my nerves."(Heard in the background "Hey baby wanna ssssee my...)Rando turns quickly yells"Oh Snake"I look up "Oh crap a universal remote."(sound effect,BLIP) And back to the void I go.Rando turns back to barkeep"Yeah like I said that lisp just bugs the hell out of me sometimes.Hey give me a bud would you."

One thing that really saved our bacon in the other rpg was a naturall division in the group by making subgroups that posted around the same time.Maybe we just got lucky, but what the hey. My most frequent posting will be between 3 pm to untill rando goes home for the day.Eastern standard time.I still can't belive how many of you guys can post from work all the time that rocks.:)I'm jealious as hell.:p

Well, in my case (and I think at least Rando's) it's called "nothing to do" :)

If I ever get a "real" job, I'm sure I'd be only on here on the weekends, if that :(

My job is not what you would call demanding. I get busy sometimes and can't post, but usually I spend more time on the Internet then doing what I'm getting paid for. Gotta love it.
