It seems obvious that mono colored deck become less viable in the Invasion environment.
As a side note, I would like to say that this new set actually makes 6th ed. more powerful and that many people seem to forget that there is a big card pool there with many staples.
Anyhow, I have the feeling that a mono white deck could be perfectly viable. The idea is to get powerful "small" creatures on the board while controlling powerful creatures through meekstone.
here the first shot :
4 toundra wolves
3 steadfast guards
4 longbow archers
2 1WW 2/2 flyer that do not tap to attack
2 archangel
3 "master decoy"
2 1W MM creature that you can Tap to deal 1 damage
3 meekstone
3 power Matrix
2 disenchant
3 enlightned tutor
3 crusade
2 seal of cleansing
4 afterlife
2 Kor Haven
18 Plains
It might need a lot of tweaking, but should be farily consistant, offers board control and good creatures threat, esp once helped with the matrix.
Cards that interract well in that deck :
"master decoy" - meekstone (make sure the fatties wont attack even once)
the "pinging" creature - afterlife
longbow archer - afterlife
attack without tapping - meekstone
First strike ability - meekstone : as only small creatures will attack, first strikers have a great advantage.
Any comments welcome.
