Post Invasion T2 monoW

It seems obvious that mono colored deck become less viable in the Invasion environment.

As a side note, I would like to say that this new set actually makes 6th ed. more powerful and that many people seem to forget that there is a big card pool there with many staples.

Anyhow, I have the feeling that a mono white deck could be perfectly viable. The idea is to get powerful "small" creatures on the board while controlling powerful creatures through meekstone.

here the first shot :
4 toundra wolves
3 steadfast guards
4 longbow archers
2 1WW 2/2 flyer that do not tap to attack
2 archangel
3 "master decoy"
2 1W MM creature that you can Tap to deal 1 damage

3 meekstone
3 power Matrix
2 disenchant
3 enlightned tutor
3 crusade
2 seal of cleansing
4 afterlife

2 Kor Haven
18 Plains

It might need a lot of tweaking, but should be farily consistant, offers board control and good creatures threat, esp once helped with the matrix.

Cards that interract well in that deck :
"master decoy" - meekstone (make sure the fatties wont attack even once)
the "pinging" creature - afterlife
longbow archer - afterlife
attack without tapping - meekstone
First strike ability - meekstone : as only small creatures will attack, first strikers have a great advantage.

Any comments welcome.

The pinging creature is the Crossbow Infantry, I believe.

The Diving Griffin is the nontapping 2/2 flyer.

Crusade might backfire if your creatures get too large. There are instants that have the same effect, but the names escape me.

4 Meekstones would be best. There is lots of artifact kill out there...

Invasion has a new small nontapping creature... a soldier of some sort, I believe.

What about Pious Warrior? Use him to suck up Blastoderm and other big nasties when Master Decoy is unavailable or unusable. He'll also eat opponent's small creatures. At 3W he is not cheap, but he is a 2/3 life gainer of sorts.

Celestial Convergence and Spirit Link?

Just some random thoughts.

The Invasion nontapper is:

Ardent Soldier
1W
Common
Creature-Soldier
Kicker 2
Doesn't tap to attack.
Kicker = +1/+1 counter
1/2

thinking about it I also think that the crusades should be out, not only because of the creatures becomming "too big" but also because there is a good chance that the opponent play white/goldwhite creatures too.

so -3 crusade
+1 meekstone
and 2 more creature, to ensure the beatdown.
mayeb the pious warrior or Wall of swords (I love that creature 3/5 flyer for 3W) but it is a wall and hence maybe too defensive.

so here is the stand :
T2 WW V1.2
4 toundra wolves
3 steadfast guards
4 longbow archers
2 diving griffith
2 archangel
3 "master decoy"
2 crossbow infantry
2 pious warrior ??

4 meekstone
3 power Matrix
2 disenchant
3 enlightned tutor
2 seal of cleansing
4 afterlife

2 Kor Haven
18 Plains

looking forward to hear more opinions ...

Kismet is legal.
Maybe could put 1 in the deck (tutors can make it available when needed).

Also Serra's blessing might be an option (creatures you control do not tap when attabking).

Actually not much of invasion influence for that deck ...
