From my very limited experience with the format I think the decks
need to be Black/x or have protection from Black and possibly
Red. Those two colors have a lot of CiP removal. Shadow or
some other type of evasion is needed as well. I'm only guessing.
I'm often wrong and lose a lot of games because of my lack
of understanding the card pool. Its probably because of all the
net-decking I've done over the years.
In our play-test games Gildie Locks was really good against
non-black based decks but folded to Black/x. Morphling is
pretty hard to deal with though. It was the key to winning
almost every game. Morphling is pretty strong. I was planning
on putting Man 0' War in the Gildie Locks sideboard.
The Viridian Zealot should probably be in the CinderBall side.
Possibly main deck if Platinum Angel seems to be popular
at the event. Doubt if I'd play the C/Ball deck but you never
know.
I still like the Braid's deck. Maybe the B/u version will work
better for me.
