    I'll tap out to cast Spinning Darkness (You may remove the top three black cards in your graveyard from the game rather than pay ~'s mana cost. ~ deals 3 damage to target nonblack creature. You gain 3 life.) on your Roc.

    I'll then block the Rats with my Poltergeist.

    I won't block the Militia, so I guess my life total evens out with the life gain from the Darkness.

    Responses? I'm planning to regenerate my Poltergeist when the timing is appropriate.

    Okay. Clearly this game has gotten severe neglect from me. This may be a foregone conclusion, but I'm going to drop out of the Mindmaster business for the foreseeable future. I've got too much going on in the non-website world to keep up with this stuff.
