that is some site... I think you are good with the comp stuff, if i were you i would delvge into that and explore what all is possible. I particuarly like the figure chained in roses... that caught my eye, and made me think about some things.

i did some cartoons of some goblins once... only thing close i got to that one

Photoshop isn't cheating. It is merely a new and different medium and tool. I bet when they invented the chisel some sculptors called that cheating, like chipping rocks with other rocks was the only true art form.

I'll check you folks' work out later...

No, art is art. It's fine for artists to enhance their own art, if they do it themselves.

However, in music, you can enhance your music with computers and such (Like techno/electronica) if you do it yourself! If you create/enhance the music all by yourself, it is fine, but if, for example, you are a pop artist, who is just a pretty face for someone else who writes and enhances the music to make it look like they have a good voice, that's bad.

I can make cool sound effects with my mouth, but whenever I try to make music-sounding sound it sounds like dissonant crap. So if someone made a machine to produce the sounds I can make with my mouth I wouldn't say it wasn't art.
In fact just about anything is art nowadays, or at least the case could be made for just about anything that it is art.

There is one qualifier, I think. The processes used to make the art have to be conscious, and by that I mean you shouldn't say that you're brilliant for producing "art" when you don't know how you did it. The creative process itself deserves some of the credit, or perhaps you're just churning out crap that's derivative of your influences (a lot of music today is like this).

Hmm for example rap music? No talent so called "artists" who seem to possess the uncanny ability to talk fast. Well blow me down! I aint neva herd noe fast talkin persons beefore...
