Nothing Special
Alright, it's time to get this draft started. There's a lot of cards involved, so I took some time to sort and link them all. Some of the cards might be in the wrong place, but I'll go through them all when I get a chance and fix any mistakes like that. Also, let me know if you see any other mistakes, such as links not working, the wrong number of cards in a pool, or a card that doesn't belong in a certain set.
Now I'm going to recap how the draft will work and explain how I want the cards selected.
Here's the draft order:
1) Mooseman
2) Rakarth
3) Rokapoke
4) Modus Pwnens
5) DarthFerret
6) Ransac
7) Spiderman
8) Budget Player Cadet
9) BigBlue
10) Melkor
For the first round, here's exactly what each player needs to do:
1) Mooseman chooses one card from Melkor's card pool
2) Rakarth chooses one card from Melkor's card pool and one from Mooseman's (Total of two)
3) Rokapoke chooses one each from Melkor's, Mooseman's and Rakarth's (Total of three)
4) Modus Pwnens chooses one each from Melkor's, MM's, Rakarth's & Rokapoke's (Total of four)
5) DarthFerret chooses one from Melkor's and one from each player who already picked (Total of five)
6) Ransac chooses one from Melkor's and one from each player who already picked (Total of six)
7) Spiderman chooses one from Melkor's and one from each player who already picked (Total of seven)
8) Budget Player Cadet chooses one from Melkor's and one from each player who already picked (Total of eight)
9) BigBlue chooses one from each card pool, except his own (Total of nine)
10) Melkor chooses one from each card pool (Total of ten)
Then it goes back to Mooseman, who chooses ten cards - one from each pool. And that's the way the rest of the draft proceeds, until the pools start running out. Then the number of picks dwindle until all the cards are gone.
Because I didn't realize exactly how many cards would be involved until I looked at them, I'm extending the pick time to three days for the first round. Even with all the links, it's going to take a while to look at everything and formulate a strategy. Subsequent rounds will be two days and I'll leave it at that unless things start dragging. Weekends are still excluded.
Finally, here's how I want the picks done:
1) Quote the following post, which contains all the cards.
2) Put the cards you're taking at the top of the post, above everything else.
3) Remove the chosen cards from their sections.
4) Update who's on the clock.
Don't keep a running tally of the cards you picked. I'm starting a separate thread for that, which I'll be updating daily.
I think that's everything. If you have any questions, ask them in the other thread. I want to keep this one clean for drafting purposes only.
Thanks a lot and have fun!
