I know it isn't any consolation... but I didn't expect this deck to be this fast - I think it was a sort of lucky draw for me - and that you are playing islands.

Honestly, your Islandwalk will not be what bothers me. But you probably figured that out already. The different color combinations will be a pain, but will just have to see if I can hold out for a while.

Probably not, it's just one more form of evasion which doesn't help you...

And maybe you went creatureless... I guess looking back at my deck, it "could" work this way... it's just funny how I design things to work one way, and then play them and they turn out completely different than expected... :) I had 3 deck ideas in mind - one was stasis, another was this one, and another was just built for speed - but had no staying power... This one is sorta a morph of the second two which is why it's fast... but I hadn't really fleshed either out totally - just was kicking around cards and such.

Boy am I glad you and I both did not try to go for the Stasis deck. I had looked at it too, however, the lack of options that I would normally use due to unincluded sets would have been difficult to get around.

Where I was going was my earliest one - it was Serra Angels, Stasis, Counters, etc... but really needed to have Black Vise - it was restricted then and I could have 1 - but that 1 really mattered... Plus, I think by then I had Enlightened tutor... It was pretty much Vigilance w/ counter support and stasis... I jsut didn't think it'd work fast enough in this environment, it's too casual. Oh, and Kismet - you have to have Kismet...

Chronatog is in though!

My stasis deck is a bounce deck, and includes bouncing stasis back to my own hand on your turn. Important element is Time Elemental.
