What is mindmaster, anyway?

Untap, upkeep, Oversoul plays a Plains and Orim's Chants Spiderman. Responses?

Mindmaster is a variant were both players crack open a boosterpack, which then becomes their hand. There is no library. You can play a limited number of lands from outside the game.

Oversoul has only two Plains left untapped, so I guess the Abeyance is countered.

Edit: I see only five plains on your side of the board.

I announced that I played a Plains before the Orim's Chant. Anyway, Mana Leak resolves and Limited still casts Eternal Dragon.

Right. I missed that. Does this change DF's reaction to the Abeyance?

 

[Spiderman]

The only change is that since there was enough mana, DF would have cast Counterspell instead of Mana Leak. So the Abeyance is countered.

Seeing as how that didn't stop you from casting the Dragon, we have no responses to that.
