Uh, as far as I know, it doesn't stand for anything--it's just the name of a Japanese cartoon wherein the main character gets hit on the head and then gets a lump that swells up and eventually turns into giant robots bursting from his skull...

Well, the bump growing to ridiculous sizes and the fact that it started with a hard blow from a blunt object were what made it remind me of the cartoon--I guess the Athena story could also work...
