Beyond Balderdash: Round 9 Answer and Scores

Why is James Naismith notable? [list=1] He founded Nike in 1972 (TomB) He is known as the father of modern radioastronomy, using radio waves instead of visable light to study celestial bodies (sageridder) College football's annual award given to the best kicker in the nation is named for him...

    Parallel Thoughts

The only problem with Apprentice is that it doesn't save game states, so each day my library is different after I take out what's in my hand, the graveyard, in play, etc... the common-knowledge stuff. But I guess the library is random anyway so it doesn't matter too much.

    Congratulations CPA!!!...

What do you mean editing posts? I don't think it's a search engine like google but a bot, like those that traverse the web for best prices on an item, say. Maybe someone was doing something like that on a specific Magic term/card/deck...

    Amazing Race

Well, the two NFL wives got eliminated... not sure why they kept walking in India while everyone else took taxis/buses, but that seemed to be the thing that made them fall behind...

    The Anti-wall (Aurification)

Yeah, all I could think of was Nettling Imp or the Ice Age guy, but I'm sure there's more recent cards that does the same thing...

    Limited or Constructed?

I agree - I like Constructed with my group since any card is open (since none of us has any real old power cards), but Limited is fun too in the Pre-releases.

    Anime

Do a search in this forum. There were several threads about this a while back.

    closed

I haven't been on over the weekend so I'm not the one doing the closings. Regardless though, I agree with whoever is doing it; Starting a thread about who should get banned serves absolutely no purpose on a public forum here. You guys want to discuss it, take it to a chat room. I agree with...

Still subject to the no cursing/non-offensive rule. Thus Reverand's post was edited.

Apollo's the only Ohio dude I know, but he's in England now. You left your family to play Magic on your vacation? How lucky are you... :p

    Holy soiled cowboy boots, Batman!

Well, Happy Birthday FoR and arhar! Although since their names aren't in the title of the thread, they probably won't see this, if ever... :)

What's up with all the guests on the site?

I was and this is still a problem of having guests but no one registering and posting and getting actual new members. Although Ed explained in CPA Issues that it was a search engine, so I guess this is moot now...

'Death Star' and more (to the tune of 'Gay Bar')

What's the source? I know the creator of New Edition was behind New Kids also, it's just that the statement of a bet sounds like rumor or urban legend type thing.
