Why is James Naismith notable?
  1. He founded Nike in 1972 (TomB)
  2. He is known as the father of modern radioastronomy, using radio waves instead of visable light to study celestial bodies (sageridder)
  3. College football's annual award given to the best kicker in the nation is named for him (Apollo)
  4. He's a college basketball coach (BigBlue)
  5. He was the attorney for the plantiff in the landmark case of Rowe v. Wade (EricBess)
  6. He was a gym teacher who invented the game of basketball (correct)
    [/list=1]

It appears this question was too easy; everyone got it right, whether at first (train and Nightstalkers) or afterwards; most had an inkling of who he was and the list confirmed it. So everyone moves forward, although sageridder is still in the lead.

Apollo, BigBlue, EricBess, sageridder, TomB all guessed 6.

    Scores:
    sageridder: 41 (37 + 1 for initial, 1 for final, 2 for correct)

    TomB: 37 (33 + 1 for initial, 1 for final, 2 for correct)
    BigBlue: 30 (26 + 1 for initial, 1 for final, 2 for correct)
    EricBess: 27 (23 + 1 for initial, 1 for final, 2 for correct)
    Apollo: 26 (22 + 1 for initial, 1 for final, 2 for correct)
    Zhaneel: 21
    train: 19 (16 + 1 for initial, 2 for correct)
    Nighstalkers: 11 (8 + 1 for initial, 2 for correct)
    Melkor: 8
    whuppinboy: 2

Actually, that got you worse than nowhere, since you sacrificed the opportunity to earn an extra point by submitting a final answer. Getting it right on the first guess takes that away.

It pays to BS in this game...:p
