I don't think the Library works with cycling. From Library of Leng at Crystalkeep, the library doesn't trigger when the discard is part of the cost. And with cycling, the discard is part of the cost.

That's a good option too. I just wonder if a "newer player" with cards from the sets described above (Odyssey, Legions) might feel intimidated playing a person using older cards like from Ice Age or Mirage, but like you say, the truly broken cards are banned in the format, so it should be okay...

When you use the buyback, though it's 6 mana, it's a reusable Boomerang - you always return something to your opponent's hand AND you get to keep Capsize - it doesn't go to your graveyard. Once you get the 6 mana, it's very annoying to your opponent - you can always return something to his hand...

he probably just goes through all the "new" threads (the ones that come up after the last time he's been on). When he was on the 4th and 5th, he brought up some pretty old threads (I keep my View Threads on Last 10 Days, but maybe his is set to older). :)

Like I mentioned in Homestar's thread, you could slow down your opponent's development with Winter Orb and hammer him to the head with Stormseeker or the red equivalent. If you're still using blue, Upheaval would be good.

Umm, guys, that's why it's called a "draft" and you can send in your input/ideas... if you don't like the spell range rule, tell them and (hopefully) add your name to the list of others who also may not like it...
